7:00 AM – Morning Routine
My day begins at 7:00 AM with getting the kids ready for school, a quick breakfast, a review of my schedule for the day and make sure I have got any keys that I need.
8:45 AM – School run
I start my day by dropping my children off at school. Working for J Foster Ltd –Domestic Cleaners gives me the flexibility to do this.
8:50 AM – Heading to My First Client
I leave the school at 8:50 AM and arrive at my first client’s home which is a short drive just before 9:00 AM. This job is a 2.5-hour clean, and I focus on the main areas like the kitchen, bathroom, utility room, and main bedroom. They also have a friendly dog who always brightens my morning.
9:00 AM – Getting Started
At 9:00 AM sharp, I start in the kitchen. I clean the countertops, wipe down appliances, and mop the floors. Next, I move on to the living room, dusting surfaces and vacuuming. The client provides all the cleaning products and equipment, so I make sure to use what they’re comfortable with.
10:15 AM – Bathroom and Utility Room
By mid-morning, I’m working on the bathroom. I scrub the shower, sink, and toilet, ensuring everything is spotless and sanitized. After that, I move to the utility room, where I wipe down surfaces and clean the floors.
11:30 AM – Wrapping Up the First Job
I finish by vacuuming and tidying up the main bedroom, leaving it fresh and neat. Before leaving, I make sure everything is in order, and I take a moment to leave a note for the client to let them know that they are running low on polish.
12:00 PM – Lunch Break
At 12:00 PM, I take a well-deserved lunch break. I usually pack something light, like a sandwich and fruit, and eat in my car or a nearby park. This is my time to relax and recharge before the second job of the day.
